Gratitude & credit to those who inspired, supported, & came before me

This section inspired by Amy Kuretsky.

There are many teachers, colleagues, and friends whose support, teachings, and generosity helped me launch my business. I have listed some of them below.

I believe in the power of connection and collaboration; collaborating with others is one of the personal and professional values I hold most dear. I think genuinely and empathetically caring for others can be a radical act. With that in mind I encourage you to think of success as something we all share in, rather than a competition or a finite resource.

The amazing people below helped me get to where I am today and regardless of where life takes us, I will be eternally grateful to them. Giving them credit costs nothing, but I hope empowers you to learn more about each of them and reflect on the people who shaped your career too!

  • Shannon Daley

Thank you to Shannon Daley for being a sounding board, trusted confidant, connector, and editor without whom my work would certainly be less clear and my risks less successful.

  • Danielle Guercio

Thank you to Dani whose unwavering and unapologetic bravery, vulnerability, and creativity has inspired me to take the bold step even when I’m uncertain. Thank you for helping me build a business I’m proud of that’s values aligned.

  • Martha Rogers

Thank you Martha Rogers for welcoming me into your moon rituals and meditation class and providing the context and prompts for me to have amazing breakthroughs and the courage to emphatically say “yes.”

  • Sarah Pitcock Lohnes

Thank you Sarah Pitcock Lohnes for giving me my first job post-graduate school (& Katie Willsie) and for helping me with the nitty gritty details to confidently start my own business, which you also helped me land my first contract for.

  • Kim Wensel

Thank you to Kim Wensel whose professional coaching and example gave me the courage and skills I needed to launch my own business (and to realize it was really more than one business, and that that’s ok).
