Collaborators
This is a call for all creatives, coaches, healers, visionaries, leaders, artists, teachers, guides, photographers, and fellow connectors. I'm looking for partners interested in creating intentional space for transformative, in-person connection by providing structured, dynamic, engaging content during my retreats. Retreat recruitment begins in January 2022.
The Details
When & Where
Bloom will take place near Lancaster, PA over Memorial Day Weekend from May 27th - 30th in a restored mansion and farm once part of the underground railroad. This Bloom retreat will focus on those operating small service-based businesses who are ready to grow. 7-16 people.
Rooted will be in a beautiful modern farmhouse in the Sonoran desert and will be filled with guided hikes among the plains of cacti, swimming in our private saltwater pool, and deep, healing energy work delivered by experienced teachers and coaches with an emphasis on equity and place... with plenty of time for naps of course. Labor Day Weekend from September 2nd - 5th. 12-15 people.
I am looking for slightly different services for each retreat.
Bloom - photography, hair, makeup, career coaching (in the broadest sense), catering, mindfulness, intention setting, visioning, & a farm excursion partner. Content should focus on tools and exercises beneficial to small, service-based business womxn and non-binary owners. Photos will be individual mini-brand photoshoots for all attendees (and vendors that opt in) as well as supporting retreat images for the host.
Rooted - photography, yoga, sound healing, desert hike guide, life coaching, mindfulness, intention setting, energy healing, wellness activities, & catering. Content should focus on empowerment, healing, and rest. Photos will mostly documentary style with some supporting retreat images for the host as well as a few posed individual & group shots as digital keepsakes.
But don’t let those ideas / titles / services limit you. I am an extremely open and flexible person. Reach out and let me know what you have in mind for either retreat!
What you’ll do as a partner
Promote the retreat via email and social media to your existing network and clients in a way that is authentic to you and your values. I will provide photos and promotional copy, but you are free to promote the retreat in any way that works for you. I ask that you do this at least twice.
For my prior retreat, I found that partners offering a small freebie to their existing clients like a mini coaching session, a digital deliverable, or a month of coaching on voxer (for example) will encourage folks to sign up. I ask that as we get closer to the close of retreat registration (~1 month before the retreat begins) you offer something like this as part of retreat promotion.
Collaborate with me in developing an engaging, dynamic retreat session. I’ll set some rough objectives after our initial planning call, but the ultimate content and delivery will be entirely up to you. You should develop content that is authentic to you, your vision, your values, and your business; I have complete faith in you and your abilities. This is why I call it a partnership!
During the retreat, engage with retreat participants by joining in on meals and group events (hikes, swimming) as a full member of our intimate community.
Enjoy yourself! If you choose to participate in individual services I will arrange it all for you and deduct it from your fee.
What you’ll get
Your fees. I wish it was a given in this work, but so often we are asked to do things for free or at a discount. I am not about that life. You decide what you think is fair and I will pay you what your work is worth. If it’s out of my current project budget, that’s ok! I hope our paths cross again soon!
All food for the day of your session (you’re welcome to hang out as little or as long as you like). If you’re a keynote facilitator you’ll also get a shared room (with another vendor, host, or facilitator) and all meals for the entire weekend.
You’ll be prominently featured in all marketing and promotional materials throughout the duration of our partnership. Recruitment begins in January 2022, so the sooner we partner, the sooner I can promote you and your work!
Deep, in-person connection to brand new clients, partners, and friends + the contact info for all attendees. I ask that you hold off on pitching anyone until the retreat officially wraps (~1 month post-retreat), but after that you can get to work as you see fit!
Pre- and post-retreat survey results to help you plan your content, improve your skills and offerings, and use as testimonials on your website. My intention is to help your growth and help you promote your services.
What you don’t get
Travel fees. Unless, of course, they’re already built into your service fees.
The cost of any freebies or services you offer as part of marketing and promotion.
Travel or event insurance.
Any individual services you choose to book such as hair, makeup, 1:1 sessions, headshots, etc.
Competition. Unless you offer personalized, luxury retreats or program evaluation services, we do not offer competitive services. Plus, I don’t really believe in competition. I started these retreats because I genuinely want other people to be happy and succeed. So no need to worry about that!
